Makalu Trekking

Makalu Trek Naturalist Adventure Nepal, in Nepal leads this trek up the verdant Arun valley, a botanist's Paradise. From our highest camp, nearly 16,000'Makalu Base Camp, we'll be at the base of such giants as Makalu, 27,760'; Peak 4,22,440', Chamlang, 24,000'; and Peak 6,22,100'; as well as having the unusual view of Everest's east face. Plus we'll be perfectly situated for viewing the total solar eclipse on Oct. 24, visible only in India and Southeast Asia. Our return is through the sparsely populated upper arun Valley to Tumlingtar, from where we fly back to kathmandu.
