Bhotekoshi River Rafting

Bhotekoshi river is a part of Koshi river system. The Bhotekoshi is one of the recently opened rivers which is just three Bhotekoshi River Raftinghours far from Kathmandu. It is most action packed river in Nepal. It is the steepest river and is most technical and challenging river in Nepal. With a gradient of 80 feet per mile it is a full eight times steeper then Sun Koshi which it feeds further downstream The rapids are steep & continuous class 4 with continuous class 3 in between At high flows several of rapids will be solid class 5 & consequences for mistakes on the entire river will become caustic. It is recommended as a maximum adventure trip for those looking for an intense rafting experience, or those with limited time schedule.

Itinerary of Bhotekoshi River

Day 01 Drive six hours to Baseri. After lunch start rafting continuous whitewater rapids to Barhabise. Return Baseri by bus and camp
Day 02 Rafting the Bhote Koshi River class 4 rapids and finish at Lamoshanghu Dam. Drive back to Kathmandu
